Eater vs. Sleeper

Asymmetric VR Stealth Horror Game (PC + VR)

Eater vs. Sleeper is a 1v1 asymmetric multiplayer game combining PC and VR play. One player takes the role of the Eater, a monster trying to reach a sleeping child by sneaking across a 3D bedroom environment.

The other player, using a VR headset, controls the Sleeper’s astral projection, and must locate and stop the Eater using a flashlight before time runs out.

A game lasts 1 minute and 30 seconds.

The Eater moves using keyboard controls (arrow keys), with mechanics focused on stealth and movement, including strafing through shadows and hiding under furniture to avoid detection.

The Sleeper, in VR, scans the environment with a flashlight—when the beam hits the Eater, it pushes them back and temporarily halts their progress.

The gameplay blends stealth mechanics for the Eater with flashlight control for the Sleeper, creating a tug-of-war dynamic.

A visible clock tracks the time, and each round ends in either a win for the Sleeper (if they hold off the Eater) or for the Eater (if they reach the bed).

The game features a 3D cartoon horror style with lighthearted visual elements, balancing suspense and playful tension.
